The Cranka Crabs are an unreal Australian made lure built for fishing around any kind of structure for fish like Bream and Snapper, but they can also be used on flats or sand beds for Flathead.
There's a heavy and a light version to suit the conditions; whether there's a bit of swell and current or nice and calm waters, one of the two weights will suit quite well.
The front claws are made with a foamy material which makes them float upwards to imitate a crab in its defensive position, and the legs are made with a soft plastic so they move around to add extra attraction as well. Both can be bought separately and replaced easily if need be.
Let these little life-like crabs sink to the bottom then slowly retrieve a little at a time to imitate a crablike crawl......BANG! You'll be on.
