Description
The Scotty 1085 Strongarm 30" model is the heavy-duty workhorse of the Scotty manual downrigger range. Perfect for all freshwater, inshore & offshore saltwater work.
The Scotty Strongarm series downrigger features a high speed 2ft per turn retrieve rate, coupled with an extended handle for extra leverage and cranking power.
The positive-drive depth counter is spray protected and the marine grade stainless steel boom features a mounted adjustable 358 Rodmaster II Rod Holder.
It comes spooled with 200 ft of 150lb stainless steel downrigger cable.
The 1085 downrigger also includes a 1023 tilt-up mounting bracket, which enables the unit to be tilted and locked in the upright position.
The clutch brake has the largest braking service in the industry and in the event of a bottom hang-up, it will pay out to avoid losing gear.
The unit is supplied with a Power Grip Plus line release and comes fully assembled and factory tested with complete saltwater protection.
